The owners of this recently renovated lovely sunny bungalow in Ellerslie Jake and Cathy Vinson, wanted a natural look for their beautifully refurbished Kauri Floors.  

When Ally Shrimpton, a design consultant at Kitchen Vision, was asked for her ideas for a kitchen in a Grey Lynn villa that had been gutted and updated, she opted for a look that would feel fresh but not too modern for the era of the home.

This miniature house may be small, but what it lacks in floor space it gives back in spades — by way of a great big chunk of lifestyle for Maureen Tan and Stephen Peters.

INTERIOR: The B:HIVE is a dynamic venue in Takapuna, Auckland, home to event, meeting, office and conference spaces. The interior features strandboard walls in the reception and open meeting areas, and in the conference rooms. WOCA Pre-Colour was first applied to prime the walls, followed by Diamond Oil Active.

EXTERIOR: For the refurbishment of Ray White on Waiheke Island, WOCA Exterior Oil was chosen to protect and enhance the cedar cladding. Because the oil is extremely fast-drying, the application was quick and easy, meaning minimal disruption to everyday business.

Taking centre-stage in this renovated Grey Lynn villa is a kitchen designed for the modern age. The solid oak bench and oak veneer cabinetry are finished with a special blend of Carbon Black and Brazil Brown Diamond Oil, and the oak stairs and flooring have been finished in Concrete Grey, providing a subdued warmth to the house.

EXTERIOR: With the redevelopment of the Ellerslie Racecourse stables in Auckland, Exterior Oil was specified to finish the Cumaru surfaces. The timber required a highly-durable finish that would be easy to maintain, but also safe and healthy for the racehorses who inhabit the stables.

INTERIOR: A historic Anglican church in central Auckland. Due to the thousands of people (and animals) who walk through the church, the timber needed a durable finish that would be easy to maintain. To finish the New Zealand kauri floors in 2005, WOCA natural timber oils were applied.

INTERIOR: A double-feature of two projects from Pennant & Triumph – MovementLAB pilates studio and Webb Henderson law office, both in Auckland and finished with WOCA Diamond Oil.

INTERIOR: Tuarangi House in Grey Lynn, Auckland, designed by TOA Architects. The CLT pine ceilings and walls have been finished in WOCA Diamond Oil Natural.

EXTERIOR: A private home in Nelson, the sunniest part of New Zealand. Cedar cladding on the exterior of this home has been finished with WOCA Exterior Oil Walnut, providing strong UV protection.

INTERIOR: Luxury jewellery store in Ponsonby, Auckland, designed by Jess Interiors. WOCA Diamond Oil Natural used to restore the original kauri floors, dated back to the 1800's.
